I have had this bag for about five weeks now; I go to class five days a week so it really gets a workout. It holds all my books in an upright position and all my other junk in the pockets. A slim water bottle will fit into the pocket under the strap. Many other students have to carry two or three bags. I just carry this one. About three times a week someone asks me about it! The only small drawback is the strap is very stiff; it will dig into your neck a bit when you have a very heavy load. I hang my bag on a hook and that is breaking it down the strap a bit, so the strap may soften up during use. I love this bag.
