My son started 6th grade; which is Jr. High here in TEXAS. The back pack we picked out from academey was a great back pack but was way too small. I have always loved Jansport!! This pictcular back pack was perfect!! It does not hurt his back; keeps everything organized; has just the right amount of space and pockets. Some have too many different compartments, this back pack is just right. My son loved the design you can hardly see them but they are skulls. The only thing I could recommend is that the color on the website said blue and it really looks more like a purple and black. It still is a awesome back pack and I recommend it for any child or young adult!!
